Laura Jackson is a lawyer who, after several years in private practice, left to fulfill her dream of serving a larger audience through freelance writing. She graduated from Emory University School of Law and is an active member of the Georgia Bar Association. In her writing, she covers international politics, veterans’ affairs, and wildlife conservation issues. She is passionate about making complex legal topics understandable for all audiences. She lives in Arlington, Virginia and when she isn’t traveling, she loves spending time at home with her pets.
