But the firmness makes it supportive enough for those who sleep on their stomach, as it can keep the hips lifted enough to maintain good spine alignment. It’s also ideal for back sleeping with its slight contouring and “top of the bed” feel for hip support. 

Side sleepers, on the other hand, may find the Birch Plush Organic a little too firm to get enough pressure relief on the hips and shoulders. It also doesn’t allow for as much contouring as memory foam tends to offer.
