Modernizing the Older Americans Act: What it Means and How You Can Comment

Event

This event has ended

While it's an important law of the land, Older Americans Act of 1965 has implementing regulations that have not been substantially changed or updated since 1988.

Now that the U.S. Administration of Community Living (ACL) is modernizing those Older Americans Act regulations, that process includes the chance to provide input. This is a key opportunity to weigh in on changes that could have big impacts on the lives of older adults.

Join us on Aug. 3 at 1 p.m. EST for a presentation of the changes expected to the law's regulations and information about how you can provide your comments.

Presenter:

  • Dianne Stone, Associate Director of Network Development and Engagement, Modernizing Senior Centers Resource Center and National Institute of Senior Centers, NCOA
