Online Peer Networking Groups for Senior Center Professionals

In the ever-evolving field of senior centers, staying connected, informed, and inspired is paramount. That's why we've launched Online Peer Networking Groups for Senior Center Professionals. These groups create a way for senior center experts to collaborate, learn, and grow.

Why Peer Networking Groups for Senior Center Professionals?

Senior center professionals are no strangers to the unique challenges and rewards that come with their line of work. Be it planning engaging activities, providing vital health and social services, addressing the evolving and unique needs of the people they serve, advocacy, funding, or managing a facility, sharing knowledge and insight is invaluable.

Our Online Peer Networking Groups harness this collective wisdom, fostering shared space where like-minded professionals can meet on a regular basis to exchange ideas, share experiences, and support one another.

Key benefits of joining a Peer Networking Group

Knowledge-sharing: Benefit from direct access to a wealth of collective knowledge. Whether it's discussing innovative program ideas, addressing common challenges, or exploring best practices, these networks will become your go-to resource.

Professional growth: Stay updated on the latest trends, regulations, and emerging technologies. This knowledge will empower you to adapt and excel in your role.

Mentoring opportunities: Connect with seasoned professionals who have been in the field for years. They can offer guidance, answer questions, and provide mentorship to those seeking to grow in their careers.

Collaborative projects: Find partners for joint initiatives, research projects, or event planning. Collaborative efforts can be especially rewarding and help our senior centers thrive.

How to get involved in peer networking groups

Participating in our Online Peer Networking Groups is easy. Peer groups are hosted as Zoom meetings on NCOA Connect.

  • Choose your group: Peer groups are designed to bring together senior center professionals who share an interest, need, situation or population. Select a group that aligns with your specific interests or needs. If you don’t see a group for you, suggest one! You can also belong to more than one peer group.
