Professionals in the aging and disability networks often look for new partnerships and methods to expand their outreach and impact.

In this webinar hosted by NCOA, we’ll feature two of your peers who will talk about innovative practices they’re using to reach older adults and people with disabilities. Join in to learn how you can replicate their approaches in your community.

Webinar speakers

  • Candace (Young) Nakamoto is the MIPPA Director and Volunteer Coordinator within Hawaii’s Executive Office on Aging, which has used a range of creative approaches to conduct multi-lingual outreach to Medicare beneficiaries, including launching a TikTok channel and a “Project Grad 65” program to educate those aging into Medicare.
  • Dianne Stone is Associate Director, Network Development and Engagement, at the National Council on Aging and leads the Modernizing Senior Centers Resource Center, an effort funded by the U.S. Administration for Community Living to equip senior centers with the capacity, tools, and resources necessary to develop and implement programs and services that meet the current and future needs of diverse older adults.
