Anne Corn, EdD, is professor emerita from Vanderbilt University, where she held professorships in the Department of Special Education and the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. At present, she is an independent education evaluation examiner, stepping in when parents and school districts disagree concerning children with visual and additional disabilities. Corn resides in Austin, Texas, where she serves on charitable boards and enjoys writing articles for and about parents, traveling, and baking.
