Deborah Cox-Roush was instrumental in designing Samaritan’s Feet Seniors, which provides mobility, health, wellness, dignity and hope to older adults through the gift of shoes. In the first year, Samaritan’s Feet Seniors served over 7,000 older adults nationwide. Overall, Samaritan’s Feet has distributed 8.8 million pairs of shoes in 109 countries and 550 U.S. cities.

Prior to joining Samaritan’s Feet in 2021, Cox-Roush served as the National Director of AmeriCorps Seniors, overseeing 200,000 senior volunteers and 1100 grantees. She also served on the Federal Elder Justice Council and Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Federal RAISE Committee.
