Katie Huffman, MA, has a master’s in gerontology and held several positions at Carolina Meadows Retirement Community. She later worked at Duke Divinity School as a research assistant and health coach for a clergy health & wellness research initiative. More recently, she oversaw the Medicare insurance counseling program and provided case management to participants at Senior PharmAssist in Durham. For the Osteoarthritis Action Alliance, she serves as project manager for the development of educational resources for patients and healthcare providers on topics related to osteoarthritis. She also manages the OAAA Lunch & Learn webinar series.
