Lesley Steinman, PhD, MSW, MPH, is a Research Scientist at the Health Promotion Research Center, a CDC-funded Prevention Research Center at the University of Washington (UW) School of Public Health. She received her concurrent MSW and MPH in 2006 and her PhD in health services research in 2023 from UW. Guided by implementation science and health equity frameworks, she conducts community-engaged research, evaluation, training and technical assistance to understand, adapt, and improve evidence-based program delivery to address inequities in access to care and health outcomes among underserved older adults in low-resource settings.
