Melissa Bailey-Taylor, DO, MPH, CMD, is a geriatrician and completed her fellowship at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine as well as her residency in Family Medicine. Her training started at Spelman College where she earned a BS. in Biochemistry and she also earned a Master’s in Public Health from The Ohio State University. She has conducted research on caregivers and patients with Dementia, taught learners of various levels of training, and clinically managed patients in the hospital, long-term care facilities, and in memory health clinics. She is an assistant clinical professor for both Clemson University and the University of South Carolina-Greenville. Presently, she is an executive director-physician at a large pharmaceutical company researching dementia interventions.
