Robert G. Wahler, Jr., PharmD, BCGP, FASCP, CPE, is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (UB SPPS), the Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services at Niagara Hospice and a Research Associate Professor at UB’s Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the Albany College of Pharmacy and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University at Buffalo. Specialized as both a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and Certified Pain Educator, Wahler is also the co-leader of “Team Alice” (www.teamalice.org), a research team dedicated to protecting seniors from medication harm across the care continuum.
