Sherrill Wayland is Director of Special Initiatives at SAGE (Services and Advocacy for LGBTQ Elders), the country's largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender older adults. SAGE offers supportive services and consumer resources, advocates for public policy changes, and provides training for aging providers and LGBTQ organizations.
