Advocate for SNAP

For decades, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) has proven to be an effective tool for fighting hunger and poverty, especially among older adults. Unfortunately, there are congressional proposals that would make it more difficult for older adults to access and keep receiving SNAP, including adding time limits on benefits for people age 50-65 struggling to find a job. Make your voice heard today.

When using SNAP isn’t practical, the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) offers an alternative way for Native Americans to get food assistance.
